science behind vaccines
Sharing age-appropriate and culturally relevant information is one of our major goals. We connect with scientists and faculty at UBC and beyond, and we work to deliver presentations and workshops with interactive and inclusive activities for elementary school, middle school, and high school classrooms, as well as local businesses and on-campus student organizations!
Depending on the distance, restrictions and provincial guidelines, the workshops can be in-person, online and even hybrid. If you are interested in a presentation, please reach out to us through ubcvlceducation@gmail.com!

Small Businesses & Companies
If your company or small business is facing a reduction of employees due to vaccine hesitancy, or if you would like to learn how to approach others who are hesitant, and share accurate information empathetically, reach out to us for a presentation! We can direct you to relevant resources, and help you create a safer workplace with better wellbeing for everyone.

classrooms
We are simply here to share the science of vaccines and create awareness around disease prevention. We make our workshops as engaging and relevant as possible to the classrooms we visit, all the way from elementary school to high school.
Depending on the distance, restrictions and provincial guidelines, the workshops can be in-person, online and even hybrid. If you are interested in a presentation, please reach out to us through ubcvlceducation@gmail.com!

Student clubs & organizations
Clubs, organizations, and student-led initiatives on campus can request presentations, for student leaders to learn about the complex challenge of vaccine hesitancy, and equip ourselves with the tools and knowledge of how we can share accurate and relevant information to people around us.
