Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee is a team dedicated to promoting vaccine education and awareness in the community. They aim to empower the public through education and raise public health literacy. In the past, they have collaborated with other organizations such as Let’s Talk Science (LTS), the Pacific Immigrations Resource Society (PIRS) and elementary classrooms in our local communities to address common misconceptions or myths about vaccines and talk about the safety and efficacy of immunization. We strive to bridge the gap between vaccine-hesitant individuals and credible scientific resources by providing accurate information and addressing concerns and questions that individuals may have. Our team works to engage with different segments of the population, from parents to healthcare workers, to spread awareness of the importance of vaccination. We host events and activities, such as workshops and speaker sessions, to share knowledge and foster open discussions about vaccines. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to increasing vaccine confidence, promoting public health, and saving lives through our outreach efforts.
